The eBay Integration enables a connection between your Brightpearl account and your eBay account. By integrating these two applications you can easily manage your eBay listings, sales and customers. In short, it means any items you sell on eBay will appear as sales orders in Brightpearl. So no more manual entry or having to manage orders separately. But that’s not all it does!
What can it do?
- Automatic updating of prices and quantities to match Brightpearl products
- Download sales orders (automatically or on demand) directly into Brightpearl
- Create new customer records from orders
- Pick up existing customer records from orders (matched by email address)
- Allocate stock automatically to new orders
- Produce orders for items not recorded in Brightpearl
- Include shipping charges on orders
- Notify eBay when an order is dispatched
What can’t it do?
- Update Brightpearl inventory levels and prices from amendments made on eBay
- Upload products from Brightpearl to eBay to create new listings
- Upload pictures or item descriptions to eBay
- Create product records in Brightpearl from eBay listings
- Set the shipping method on orders; shipping is added as a line item and does not use Brightpearl shipping methods/prices
- Automatically email the customer with order status changes and tracking reference on eBay

eBay and Magento
If you're using our Magento integration as well as eBay you'll find that you're able to:
- Manage all your sales in Brightpearl
- Monitor where your sales are coming from
- Synchronise stock levels across both eBay and Magento
- Synchronise prices across both eBay and Magento
All your stock is managed in Brightpearl and synchronised to eBay and Magento, so if an item sells on eBay, the change in stock availability is updated in Brightpearl, which then synchronises with your Magento site. You're fully in control of your stock, preventing over selling!
