Collections

Brightpearl Collections can be used for putting together a selection of your products by brand, perhaps for seasonal sales such as "Summer collection".

Create a Collection

1. Go to Setup > Products/Inventory > Collections.
2. Click Add a collection.
3. Select the brand and enter a unique name for the collection.
4. Click Save.

You can now begin adding products to your collection. 

Add/Remove Products to a Collection

1. Search for the product using the Quick Search box or using filters on your product listing.
2. When the product is listed, click the name to view/edit.
3. In the Product info tab select the collection name from the drop-down list.
4. Click Save changes.

Add Multiple Products to a Collection

You can add multiple products to a collection using the Batch Process in the Stock Detail report, filtered by Brand.

You can also use the import process to update products, including adding them to a collection.

View Products in a Collection

You can use the Stock Listing to view all the products in a collection.

1. Go to Products > List products/services.
2. Filter the report first by Brand and then by Collection. Or you can type the collection name into the Search field.
3. Click Filter report.

You can also see how many products are in a collection, with a link to the product list from the Setup screens, go to Setup > Products/Inventory > Collections.

Deleting Collections

Collections can only be deleted if there are no products added to the collection.
