To organise your products you will need to place them into categories and sub-categories. If you have a Brightpearl website, these will also be the categories in which customers search/browse for your products online; they will be displayed as menu items. It's worth thinking thoroughly about what categories you want to use, especially if you have your products displayed on a website. It's the categories that will create separate menus and really help your customers when they are browsing your webpages.
Categories can be added manually, or automatically created when you import your products (top level only).
