Brightpearl requires you to create a Sales Order for any inventory or services you are selling. This ensures you capture details about customers, best selling products or services, cost of sales and tax, making for effective reporting for making business decisions.
Sales Orders can be created through various sales channels helping you generate more sales, store accurate data and prevent over selling:
- Manual - Add each sale manually into Brightpearl. You may find you'll do this when you take a telephone order. There are plenty of ways to make sure this method is quick and accurate.
- Clone - New sales can be created by cloning an existing quote or order. You might do this if a customer places a repeat order or if a customer wants the same quote as you already provided someone else.
- Automatically - If you are using one of our Multichannel integrations - Magento, eBay or EPOS - your orders will automatically download into Brightpearl.
- Importing - Where you want to transfer open orders from a previous system, or if you take orders using a non-integrated system, perhaps a third party, you can import them using spreadsheets.
