About the role
Based in our Bristol office, or remotely for the right candidate, you will be responsible for setting customers up for long-term success on our platform. In this critical role you’ll be acting as a solution expert whilst working in close alignment with your Brightpearl colleagues to ensure that every customer has the right service mix to guarantee their ultimate success.

You will assess customer business objectives and system needs to ensure a correct solution fit;
You will work across teams and partners to build a package of works to meet customer required outcomes;
You will ensure accurate Technical Proposals are completed to reflect the agreed solution;
You will provide accurate work estimates and ensure accurate delivery timelines to achieve agreed customer outcomes;
You will be asked to provide key insight on solution requirements to ensure there is a cycle of continuous improvement.
You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently with clients and for relatively short engagements (<1 month);
You will be expected to lead consulting engagements and manage customer relationships with both business and technical clients;
You will be leading the consulting engagements and ensure quality delivery;
You will manage all project activities – business process analysis, data import, application configuration, user training - either completing yourself or delegating to colleagues;
Communicate progress and report issues and changes, escalating where required;
Ensure project outcomes are successfully delivered, to agreed timelines and to budget;
You will be asked to provide key insight on solutions delivery to ensure there is a cycle of continuous improvement.
Enthusiastic and driven personality with exceptional communication skills;
3+ years business application training and accounting / finance experience;
Collaborative and consultative work style;
Ability to link business processes;
Experience delivering product/technical solution;
Experience delivering consulting & training services (customer facing);
Experience of using and setting up accounting packages (Xero, Quickbooks, Sage 50 etc), inventory & stock control, CRM, sales order processing or equivalent technology systems;
Business Process Mapping in the areas of sales, distribution and fulfillment, customer support.
Project quoting experience;
An understanding of eCommerce technologies such as Magento, Shopify, ekmPowershop and Bigcommerce and online marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon;
Strong understanding of small to medium-size business operations;
Bachelor’s Degree required.
