Implementation Consultant

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity if you are looking to develop your existing consultancy experience within the ERP industry and passionate about delivering a first class implementation experience to our customers. You’ll be working with experienced ERP consultants and Project Managers within the Professional Services team based in Bristol, to successfully onboard customers on to the Brightpearl platform.

You will be passionate about delivering high quality solutions to our customers and eager to learn about their business to deliver the right solution to help them grow. Outside of customer implementations, you’ll be involved in a variety of continuous improvements projects to improve on our internal processes. You will have the opportunity to work cross functionally, learning from other experts in the company and building on your own industry knowledge.

Your Day-to-Day Life:

  • Be the main point of contact for customers during the implementation / onboarding phase

  • Assist customers during the data and account configuration stages, troubleshooting where necessary

  • Work closely with the Pre-Sales team to review business requirements to identify the right solution for implementation

  • Implement Brightpearl products and technologies to meet customer specifications

  • Apply best practices and methodologies as detailed in the departmental ‘playbook’ to ensure a smooth deployment and post live transition to the Customer Success and Support teams

  • Use your analytical and problem solving skills to implement the right solution for our customers

  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment with a solution focused mindset

Your Qualifications:

To be successful as an Associate Consultant at Brightpearl, you must...

  • Have an undergraduate degree in either of the following disciplines - IT, Business Information Systems

  • Have 2-5 years of relevant experience in an ERP implementation role

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Possess strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide variety of people

  • Be a self starter, quick to learn, with a customer first mentality

  • Self directed, professional, team player

  • You’re able to remain adaptable, flexible, and work cross-functionally and be comfortable with ambiguity

  • Hungry to develop your career and be world class at what you do

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving and dynamic environment

  • Demonstrate ownership during the execution of tasks performed either individually or collectively

  • Demonstrate a genuine interest and demonstrate basic competence in one product or technology area

  • Be willing to travel to deliver customer implementations if required


  • Ideally able to demonstrate experience working with similar ERP products such as Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, Netsuite and SAP

  • Demonstrate an understanding of eCommerce technologies such as Magento, Shopify, ekmPowershop and Bigcommerce and online marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon

  • Accounting software knowledge (i.e. Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)

  • Hold a full UK driving licence - our customers could be anywhere in the UK
