About the role
We’re looking for a highly motivated and organised Events Coordinator to work with the Sales and Marketing team at Brightpearl. You will be responsible for coordinating events in both the UK and US offices. Time flexibility is important as there will be variation on the traditional 9-6pm hours to crossover with the office in San Francisco. The role will offer lots of variety and exciting opportunities; you’ll be organising conferences, trade shows, customer appreciation events, online events and more.
Your duties will include:
Successful event delivery, including:
Working with sales and marketing teams to identify needs, venues and appropriate resources
Handling event logistics
Keep the Sales teams free to focus on their content and customer/partner/prospect engagement
Securing event sponsorship when applicable;
Ability to communicate at all levels and across departments;
Participation in meetings to create clear strategies and goals;
Calculation of budgets and ensuring they are adhered to;
Customer retention and satisfaction.
What you’ll need:
Good organisational and planning skills and the ability to multi-task
Customer service and interpersonal skills are required
Negotiating skills to work out prices and the best deals
The ability to work under pressure, unsupervised and to strict deadlines
Excellent team player with lots of self motivation
Exceptional written and verbal skills
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Positivity, confidence and drive is a must;
A team player - able to input into a multifunctional team; not afraid to question and offer alternatives
Good communicator with strong attention to detail;
Creative flair and eager to learn;
An analytical brain that is comfortable with stats and reporting.
