They created a great infographic beginning with Macy’s Holiday Window Display in 1874 and going through some of the greatest holiday campaigns including Coca-Cola’s famous Father Christmas is 1931, Starbucks red cups in 1997, and going right up to REI’s #OptOutside campaign in 2015 when they pulled out of participating in Black Friday.
