Sky’s the limit for airline uniform retailer as firm opts for Brightpearl

Austin, Texas, Dec. 22, 2020 –  A Cut Above Uniforms has chosen Brightpearl to improve and scale its accounting, purchasing, inventory, warehouse and order management processes, as it looks to supercharge its distribution of high quality airline and security uniforms.

The Colorado-based uniform supplier now has a retail focused digital operations platform that will allow it to cut back on order processing time and adapt warehouse and fulfilment processes to become more efficient, getting its uniforms to pilots and security personnel across the country in record time.

A pilot for 13 years, President Chris Pilarski founded A Cut Above Uniforms with the intention of improving the design and fit of airline uniforms to better serve the staff who wear them for long hours.  What began as a home business in Los Angeles has grown into a full commercial space in Colorado and one of the US’s premier uniform suppliers.

With Brightpearl in the cockpit of its operations,  A Cut Above will have the ability to manage its accounting, purchasing, inventory and warehouse logistics across one intuitive platform, providing a real-time view that will ensure full visibility across the business and much greater levels of accuracy.

In addition, Brightpearl’s automation feature will greatly reduce shipping times, ensuring items are out the door faster, and the platform’s praised demand planning attributes gives granular and real-time insights to support forecasting and inventory performance.

“We are so fortunate to be implementing Brightpearl at A Cut Above Uniforms,” says Patrick Sullivan, Executive Vice President, A Cut Above Uniforms. “As a retailer of uniforms for airlines and security companies, we needed a solution to improve and scale our operations. We migrated off of QuickBooks and an existing ecommerce platform to Brightpearl, now we will use the new software to ensure our orders are picked, packed and fulfilled without mistakes, plus the integration to ShipStation makes the final shipping management a breeze! Our customers don’t know it, but we now have the ability to scale our operations with just a handful of employees, to deliver far better service and purchase experiences.”

With Brightpearl at the core of its operations, A Cut Above Uniforms will be able to focus on the design and distribution of top quality uniforms for security professionals and pilots across the US.

“At a time when more of us are buying online than ever before, A Cut Above Uniforms has recognised the importance of flexible, reliable operations and is setting itself up for continued success with a future proofed technology stack.” says Justin Press, SVP of Customer Success, Brightpearl. “We’re proud to be the tailor made digital operations solution for a brand that is marrying a quality product with excellent customer service and big plans for the future.”
