1. Article: This ‘shopbot’ allows you to find out where an outfit is from simply by taking a photo

This month, Business Insider wrote an article on one of the latest technologies which could revolutionize the shopping experience. The article introduces a “shopbot” from Glamix which would allow shoppers to snap a picture of an outfit to find out where it is from.

All the user needs to do is send a picture to the Glamix Facebook Messenger and the AI-bot uses image recognition and automatic responses to send back suggestions of the exact or similar products. There was big news for SMEs looking to advertise with Snapchat this month as they announced a new service to help small businesses take the Snapchat advertising plunge.
