This month, Retail 90 shared valuable advice for Amazon sellers on how to win the Amazon Buy Box. The video focuses on 3 things you can do to increase your chances of appearing in the box, including:

Approximately, 82% of desktop purchases are made via the ‘buy box’ and it’s even higher for mobile purchases with it reaching as high as 90%. These statistics highlight how valuable the box can be to Amazon sellers with a direct correlation to an increase in views and sales!

2. Infographic: Mobile Commerce Accounts for More Than 31% of Total Sales

BigCommerce have created this informative infographic on the state of mobile commerce in 2017. The motivation for the blog came from successful BigCommerce merchant, NatoMounts, who not only embraced a mobile strategy, but also saw incredibly high conversion rates that were even higher than the desktop average! This inspired Tracey Wallace, BigCommerce’s Editor-in-Chief to explore the industry average performance.

The key statistics from the infographic include:

  • The average conversion rate is 4.31% on desktop and 1.5% on mobile.
  • However, mobile conversion increased 30% year-on-year from 2015 to 2016.
  • One-page checkouts and digital wallets improves mobile conversion by 10%.
